Why is it that most no/low budget film makers want to make horror films or thrillers. The cost of fx would surely push up the costs. Maybe a nice comedy would be cheaper. Something that that nice Meg Ryan would do, or Tom Hanks.......

Hi all,
I've been watching this noticeboard for a few weeks now and thought that I'd join. You all seem like a nice bunch, nicley insane that is.
I checked out a few of the clips and trailers that you all have made available and realise that you are committed to your hobbies/careers/mental institutions.
